The Knoxville Chamber actively works to ensure that the City of Knoxville, Knox County, the State of Tennessee, and the Federal government provide a business friendly environment for our community. We do this by listening and working with our 2,100 members companies to shape public policy that impacts the region and economic development.

Annually the Knoxville Chamber’s Board of Directors presents a legislative agenda to the Tennessee General Assembly and often takes positions on policies begin considered by local and federal elected officials. These formal positions allow the Chamber to advocate for or against policies that benefit the entire business community. The Knoxville Chamber also joins with other business coalitions – like the Big 4 Chambers (Chattanooga, Knoxville, Memphis, and Nashville) – on issues that affect the state’s economy and business climate.

Our voice in public policy is strong, and with your voice and action we are even stronger. This website is an important tool that can help you be an active participant in the Chamber’s advocacy work.

KnoxvilleBusinessVoice.com offers relevant information to help you make your voice heard in the political process.
